The Chateau d'Ax 1990 kit was dominated by the strong colour palette of black, orange and white with the smallest hint of gold. Nalini manufactured the kit which gave Chateau d'Ax, a furniture and furnishings manufacturing company maximum exposure. The collar of the jersey was white with an orange band at the top. The Chateau d'Ax name was rendered in black on the collar. The shoulder and upper chest area were black followed by orange with a thin band of gold dividing the two coloured areas. Sponsors logos were rendered in this area of the jersey in white or black. As with current cycling kit, the main sponsor dominates the chest of the jersey, both front and back.
The Chateau d'Ax logo rendered in black and white is located on the bottom half of the jersey on an orange square. The Francesco Moser bikes name is rendered in black on white on the sides of the jersey. Francesco Moser, an Italian professional cyclist of the day, also had a bike manufacturing business. The Moser brand provided the team bikes. The bibshorts were black with the Chateau d'Ax name in white on the sides of the bibshorts.
After the 1990 season, the team gained a new major sponsor in Gatorade. This meant a major change to the kit and the colour palette so 1990 was the last season with the ornage, black and white colour palette. The following seasons kit was dominated by the green and orange of Gatorade.
Chateau d'Ax was a major team including major riders, Gianni Bugno and Tony Rominger. Gianni Bugno won the 1990 Giro d'Italia and finished 7th in the Tour de France 1990.
