100TH EDITION YELLOW JERSEY
The 100th edition of the Tour de France in 2013 started on the island of Corsica. This fact was reflected in the design for the 2013 yellow Tour de France jersey by means of the inclusion of the Moors head predominantly on the front of the yellow jersey. The Moors head is taken from the Corsican flag.
The jersey once again was provided by Le Coq Sportif whose logo is reporduced on the the front, back and sleeves of the jersey. The Tour de France logo is featured below the Le Coq Sportif logo, however, as in previous years, the year is not included but instead a 100 design detail is used below the Tour de France logo to signify the 100th edition of the Tour de France. A small French Tricolor detail is used on the back of the collar while acknowledgement of the Tour de France founder, Henri Degrange, is loctaed on the middle rear pocket. The Crédit Lyonnais logo is displayed in blue on the chest, sides, sleeves and rear of the jersey. The design detail Jeune (French for yellow) is used as a design detail that denotes the jersey's significant colour.
