The design for the 2010 Saxo Bank kept the blues, black and white colour palette established in the previous season which mirrored the Saxo Bank branding. The mountain like contour design detail was kept but moved from the sides to the upper shoulders and bottom of the jersey. The wing like design detail was kept near the bottom of the jersey, a nod to the team owner, Bjarne Riis, whose nickname is the Eagle of Herning. A new design detail, mountain contours rendered in light grey, were added to the white sections of the jersey. This design detail was continued on the inside area of the sleeves and the collar. It provided an interesting design concept as well as giving a nod to the function that wins the grand tours, climbing prowess.
Saxo Bank remained as the main sponsor and their name received prominent placement on the chest and shoulders as well as down the sides of the jersey. The supporting sponsors were as standard rendered on the upper chest section bringing touches of red and green courtesy of the Sportful, Lululemon and Skoda logos.
The bibshorts were black with white bands around the leg ends and subtle hints of the mountain profile design detail rendered in layered coloured configuratins of blues and greys. Design wise, the 2010 kit was an intersting improvement from the 2009 iteration. The kit supplier changed from 2009's supplier, Craft, to Sportful for 2010.
