About the design
The 2013 Movistar kit for the most part was devoid of design features or if you wish to look at it in a different way, made the most of a minimalist design. The colour palette was dark blue, shades of green courtesy of the Movistar sponsor, and white.
The Movistar green M dominated the centre, long sleeves, sides of the short sleeve jersey, collar and rear of the jersey. The Movistar M was also replicated on the legs of the bibshorts.This is where the additional colour ends on this design. All other sponsor names and logos are rendered in white
The kit manufacturer Nalini, bike supplier Pinarello and UCI logs are located on the upper chest area. The Telefonica logo was rendered on the sleeves. This kit was very simple but its simplistic design and placement of the green Movistar M make it strong and very functional for giving the main sponsor maximum exposure. Having to ride in a dark blue kit is no hardship either compared to riding in brown bibshorts or pink, lime green and blue jerseys. A strong and understated design that is simple but works.
