About the Design
The Team Sky 2014 kit differed ever so slightly from the 2013 kit. The colour palette was kept the same, black, light blue and white with the base colour being black once again. The sponsors names are once again rendered in white on black and the blue colour is used for the blue line on the back of the kit and the band around the sleeve.
More sponsors were added to the upper chest front of the jersey but this still kept the minimalist uncluttered and sleek feel of the previous design.
A blue training kit was introduced which kept the same design as the race kit but swapped black for the light blue and blue for white.
This kit's strength is still its lack of over design while still using subtle design elements carefully and sparingly to lift the plain black background base colour to provide a clean and sleek look for Team Sky again.
