About the Design
The Giant Shimano team became Giant Alpecin in 2015. The kit changed form being mostly white to mostly black. The jersey was black with the main sponsors Giant and Alpecin rendered in black and red respectively. The kit kept the two vertical stripes down the middle which were now white as opposed to black in the previous season.
The sponsors were rendered in white which were highly contrasted against the black jersey. The only other colouring in the jersey, apart from the red courtesy of Alpecin, was blue. These two colours were represented in two bands around the sleeve and leg ends on the kit. The team could provide an alternate version of the kit by reversing the black and white colours to great effect.
The colour palette for this kit was strong and the design was simple but also very strong.
