About the design
Bora Hansgrohe's 2017 kit differs from the 2016, largely black kit, due to the addition of the new sponsor, Hansgrohe. The kit features aqua/green detailing used sparingly but effectively. The kit is still largely black with white touches and lettering on the sponsors names. The dots are courtesy of Bora is mixed with the Hansgrohe aqua/green with great effect.
The colour palette is, like many other 2017 kits is predominantly black with details of colour used to break the solid black.
Having the sponsors all written in white makes these stand out on the black background without having colours that clash with each other. The kit design is simple but the colour pallette works effectively together. There are no colour clashes, which is always beneficial for the design.
The kit is manufactured by Craft, the experienced Swedish clothing manufacturer responsible for many cycling kits both present and past. Craft were responsible for the excellent 2011 Leopard Trek kit.
With the Bora Hansgrohe kit simplicity is definitely working in its favour.
