About the design
The Lotto Soudal 2017 kit is once again predominantly red, white and black. The main sponsors Lotto and Soudal bring this colour palette with them. This colour palette is strong and the 3 colours counter each other very well. Lotto and Soudal dominate the middle of the jersey with black lettering on a white background framed by the red colour.
The belgian colours are bands on various parts of the kit that give a visual nod to the team's registered origin. The next tier of sponsors dominate the upper part of the jersey with white lettering which contrasts strongly with the main red colour.
The kit is not overly designed or stylised but its strength is its simplicity. There are no major design details apart from the belgian coloured bands but this simplicity gives the team brand strength and a strong design voice.
