About the design
In 2017 the main colour palette of the Movistar team kit is still the dark blue and the green which is brought to the kit courtesy of the main sponsor Movistar. The sponsors are still rendered using white lettering but the white pocket and bands around the sleeves are removed in this itteration. The white bands are replaced by movistar green bands around the jersey sleeves. The white pocket is replaced by a duel white stripe and white sponsors lettering and logo.
The main Movistar M on the kit in the 2017 iteration is a flat one green colour as opposed to the two green shades that were used in 2016.
The Movistar kit has, for the most part, remained predominantly the same over the years. It has benefited from the strong base colour blue that luckily contrasts very well with the green. The sponsors being rendered in white really "pops" on the dark blue. Movistar was the only team using this base dark blue previously but Orica Scott also use a similar dark blue shade but the kit still stands out in the peloton.
