About the Design
Trek Segafredo kept the pinstripes for 2017 which has become one of the team's trademarks. The upper part of the kit which was previously white, has been changed to red for 2017 edition. The Trek logo is now white on a red background as opposed to black on a white background in the previous season edition. The Segafredo logo, which is fortuitously, also black,white and red is still placed on the black pinstripes.
The colour palette of this kit is red, black and white. This colour palette is very strong and the colours complement each other extremely well. The sponsors are rendered in white lettering and they are still located on the chest and the back pockets of the jersey.
A high viz version of the kit was produced as a training kit. This version substituted the red upper chest and shoulder panel with a hi viz yellow panel.
The versions of the kit carry, depending on the version, the pin stripes and the bands on the legs of the shorts which are either red and white bands or hi viz yellow and white bands.
A all white with subtle pin stripes version of the jersey was produced for the 2017 Tour de France. This special version has the sponsors in black lettering and red bands detailing on the sleeves carrying the colour scheme.
