About the design
Lotto Soudal kept the kit for 2018 mostly the same as the 2017 kit but a white torso panel replaced the all red jersey with a white mid section. This season the white panel covers the chest and lower half of the jersey. The shoulders and sleeves remain red and the Lotto Soudal lettering and placement on the chest remain the same.
The back of the jersey is also mostly white with a red shoulder area but on the white background, coloured semi opaque overlapping circles have been added to the back pockets area. The coloured overlapping circles are coloured red, blue,orange, blue, green and grey. This is a very interesting design detail but we are not sure if it fits in with established brand. A little bit left field and random.
The bibshorts are black with sponsors rendered in white and a Belgian colour detail on the leg end. A slight difference of colour panels and new design details add an interseting variation to the established design and brand.
For the 2018 Giro d'Italia the team became Lotto Fix All with a kit that reflected that product's branding using an aqua, red and white colour palette. For the 2018 Tour de France the team became 'New Lotto Soudal' with an all red jersey which had the sponsors names rendered in white.
