About the design
The colour palette for Movistar's 2018 kit changed from the established colour palette used in previous seasons to light blue, white and dark blue. The sponsors of the team have remained the same and as a result the large Movistar M still dominates the kit but it is now rendered in white. The other sponsors are also rendered in white on the jersey and bibshorts. The second major change is that the jersey has a gradient fade at the bottom that fades into the dark blue of the shorts.
The design is minimal but this continues to work for Movistar. The colour palette change has been carried over into the Canyon bikes to great effect. A good colour palette change which refreshes the design without over thinking a new design concept.
