About the Design
2019 sees Bahrain Merida team kit stick with the colour scheme from the 2018 and 2017 seasons. The jersey remains red with blue panles while the bibshorts remain largely blue. The main sponsors of Bahrain and Merida remain on a blue panel rendered in gold and white. The sponsors are on the upper chest and shoulders rendered in white on the red jersey background.The new sponsor, for 2019, McLaren is represented on the sleeve ends in white on a blue band.
The gold design detail has been removed and replaced by an asymetrical vertical lines motif of blue, green and gold. This design detail can also be seen on the leg ends of the bibshortts. The intersecting design detail represents the various sponsors all working together for the same goal.
The Asymetric line motif is also carried on to the rear of the jersey with Bahrain and Merida rendered on the side and rear of the jersey as well as on the side and rear of the bibshorts. The kit provider, Sportful's logo is rendered on the front of the jersey as well as the front and side of the bibshorts. An interesting variation of the now well established theme.
