About the design
The 2019 Team Sunweb kit keeps the base colour scheme of white, black and red but the red takes a more prominent place. In 2019 the Team Sunweb jersey is red. The 2 lines concept is kept but for 2019 they are white on the red background.
The sponsors are rendered in white on the red or white on black in the case of the bibshorts. The bicycles sponsor Cervelo and kit manufacturer craft are rendered in black on the red jersey. A design detail in many kits over the past few seasons have been a gradient fade at the bottom of the jersey. The Team Sunweb kit has a red to black gradient fade at the bottom of the 2019 jersey. The jersey features a repeating 2 line design
The kit is manufactured by the Swedish company Craft. Craft have done many kits in the past including Leopard Trek, Radioshack Nissan and Orica Greenedge. They make a return to the pro peloton with Team Sunweb.
The kit uses Dyneema on select areas of the bibshorts. This material is 15 times stronger than steel and protects riders against cuts and abrasions due to crashes.
Overall a very strong kit with some nice design touches and innovative fabrics.
