ISRAEL START-UP NATION 2020

About the design

Israel Start Up Nation is a new team joining the World Tour for the 2020 season. The team is a partnership between Katusha Alpecin and Israel Cycling Academy.

The main colour palette for the Israel Start Up Nation kit is light blue, white and black. The 2020 jersey is similar in design to the Lotto Soudal kit with a similar configuration of colour panels but using different colours. The design of the kit is somewhat retro and uncomplicated. The base colour of the jersey is light blue while white panels are used on the upper chest section front and upper back section on the rear. A white panel is also used on the bottom half of the jersey front and back leaving a light blue stripe across the middle front and back.

The sponsors are rendered in black, light blue or white depending on their location on a background colour section. The UCI logo is light blue while the bike supplier Factor and the kit supplier Katusha are rendered in black on white. The main sponsor Israel Start Up Nation is placed on the light blue stripe rendered in white with the multiple coloured Star of David to the right of the primary sponsors name. The remaining sponsors are rendered in mainly black on the bottom white panel. The Katusha K is present on the shoulders of the jersey rendered on the light blue in white.

The bibshorts are black with the points of the star of David motif in multiple colours present on both sides of the bibshorts. Sponsors are rendered on the sides and rear of the bibshorts. This kit is not going to win any awards for design but for sure the riders will appreciate the largely white jersey when racing in the summer heat
