About the Design
The Team Ineos kit remains unchanged for the 2020 season from the 2019 kit. The burgundy fade to black remains and the burgundy line down the middle of the back also remains. The bibshorts and bibtights remain black in 2020 for Team Ineos with sponsors in white. The kit maker Castelli also provides colder weather clothing in the guise of their gabba and perfetto ranges. The Ineos editions are black with the burgundy line on the back while the team name is rendered in white.
A new addition for the Team Ineos 2020 season is the bright orange training kit jersey. Following Trek Segafredo's bright yellow training kit, Castelli introduce a bright orange jersey with the team name in white on the chest and the shouler area while the line on the back of the jersey is white with the team name and logo rendered in white with the union jack flag. Castelli have also produced a range of dark grey tech polo and tshirts. The detailing is subtle with touches of the burgundy used sparingly. The Castelli scorpion logo is very small on the chest corresponded by a small Team Ineos rendered in white. The sole bottom burgundy button on the polo is a nice touch and nod to the branding The mesh under vest also has nice touches of the burgundy line on the back and front with a smaller Ineos name and Castelli logo.
For the Tour de France 2020 Team Ineos had a name and kit change to the Ineos Grenadiers. This is to mark the manufacture of the Grenadier vehicle by Ineos. This vehicle is based on the Land Rover Defender. The kit is dark blue with the Grenadier name in white and the logo in red. The line on the rear of the jersey is kept but is changed to red. The Grenadier and Ineos names are on the jersey sides and sleeve sides in white. The kit is minimal with only small renders of the Castelli and Pinarello logos. The branding is continued on to the bike where the dark blue base with the red Grenadier logo are replicated.
