BAHRAIN VICTORIOUS 2021

About the Design

For the 2021 season the Bahrain Mclaren team became Bahrain Victorious after McLaren discontinued their sponsorship. The colour palette remained very similar made up of red, orange, black, white and the accented light blue. The large Mclaren ornage section that was on the jersey in 2020 is replaced by a mostly red jersey with limited and subtle orange details. The sleeve ends and the socks keep the light blue colour detail. The kit provider changed to Italian company Nalini for the 2021 season.

The bottom and the sides of the jersey are black with geometric repeating shapes with slightly blurred gradient fades. The geometric shapes are configured diagonally on the jersey, continuing the design theme started on the 2020 edition of the Bahrain McLaren kit. The 2021 edition of the Bahrain Victorious kit has sponsors names and logos rendered in white on the red based jersey background as opposed to the black rendered sponsors names on the 2020 version of the jersey.

The black bottom of the jersey provides a seamless transition to the bibshorts that remain black with the sponsors rendered in white. The team name and logo is on the back of the bibshorts while sponsors are also on the sides of the legs.

The Bahrain Victorious Merida bikes remain the same as the 2020 bikes mirroring the colour palette used on the kit. The bikes are coloured back to the front with black, red to orange colour bands in diagonals while the light blue colour accent detail is maintained on the inner sides of the bike front fork.
