About the design
The 2022 season UAE Team Emirates kit remains the same as the 2021 kit design. The jersey remains white based with the black bibshorts. The red gradient fade to black which begins on the inner side of the sleeve and blends into the front of the black sleeves remains as a prominent design detail. The Emirates ariline branding brings the red and gold to the colour palette which is used on the chest, the sleeve ends and the leg ends of the bibshorts.
The United Arab Emirates flag still dominates the middle of the jersey front and back along with the Emirates red band. For the 2022 edition the United Arab Emirates flag is rendered in more of a brush stroke style, as opposed to the more punctuated diagonal line solid rendering of the flag on the 2021 kit. Another change for the 2022 UAE Team Emirates jersey is the new sponsor Etisalat addition, just under the FAB name.
The Colnago bikes remain black based with The UAE colours on the forks and seat tube. Gold colouring is used on the manufacturer name and names of the tech sponsors as well as their logos. The gold colouring stands out nicely against the matt black finish base colour. The red and white Emirates branding remains on the top tube.
