About the design

The 2023 Groupama FDJ kit finally delivers some innovation and change to multipple years of the same design and same colour palette. The base colour for the 2023 kit is dark blue which provides a strong base colour on which to layer the French tricolor design details of white, red and blue. sections of lighter blue are added to the left shoulder, sleeve,sleeve end as well as a bar of light blue across the chest. A smaller light b;ue section is also added at the bottom of the jersey.

The sponsor names and logos are rendered in white and really pop out well against the dark and lighter blues used as a background. The red touches come via the Groupama and FDj logos. A nice design detail is the red and white stipes of olour that are used on eithr side of the zip cover to carry on the French tricolor colour palette. The bibshorts are also darker blue with the sponsors rendered nicely in white with small touches of red colour where required. The white socks finish off the 2023 Groupama FDJ kit edition. A good strong kit with a nicely co-ordinated colour palette that works together very well to give this very French team its identity.

The new Groupama FDJ 2023 kit design has a nod to the design used on the Bora Hansgrohe kits of 2022 and 2023 by mirroring the use of geometric shapes of colour.
