About the Designs
The 2019 Tour of California jerseys are provided by Swiss company Assos once again. The jerseys follow the established cycling tradition of yellow for leader, green for sprinter points, polka dot for king of the mountains and white for best young rider. The jerseys feature the Tour of California bear logo in various locations and sizes. The inner sleeve areas f each jersey are white with one sleeve outer being black. The Assos logo is rendered on this black sleeve. The bear logo is large on the front and back of the yellow jersey. The sponsors for each jersey are rendered on the front, back and non black sleeves of each jersey. The Tag Heuer sponsored white jersey also has diagonal Tag Heuer coloured stripes on the torso front and back. The back pocket of all jerseys is black with the Assos logo rendered in white. The blue, most courageous rider, jersey has a bear logo repeated pattern on the upper front and back. Assos produced two special jerseys to celebrate the 2019 Tour of California. One is a black jersey called Neon and the other is grey and black. The Bear logo also features in various colours on both of these special jerseys.
