The Vuelta classification jerseys follow th enow established pattern of jersey category by colour with the La Vuelta logo and year on the left chest while the sponsor is on the right of the chest. The jersey sponsor is also on the back, sides, bttom and sleeves. The geometric pattern returns for 2022 on the rear pocket.
To commemorate the grand depart in the Netherands, the King of the Netherlands has designed a special red jersey with a chequered pattern.
The special stage jerseys for the 2022 edition of the Vuelta are Asturias stage 8,Alicante stage 10, Sierra Nevada stage 15 and Madrid stage 21. The stage jerseys have a geometric line design with the area logo, stage number, name and details on the back of the jerseys. Asturias jersey is blue and yellow, Alicant is ornage, red and purple, Sierra Nevada is green and white and Madrid is black, red and orange.
