About the Mountain

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo climb is situated in the Veneto region in the Dolomites. The climb is short but the majority of sections of the climb are above 10% gradient.

The climb was used as the summit finish on the penultimate stage of he 2013 Giro d'Italia and was the Cima Coppi of the race. In 2013 the stage was won by Vincenzo Niballi who also won the Giro d'Italia in 2013.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo means three peaks in Italian. The three peaks are: Cima Piccola, Cima Grande, Cima Ovest (little peak, big peak and western peak.
