White Jersey: Best young rider - Southaustralia.com jersey
The Santini manufactured Tour Down Under jerseys for the 2018 edition of the race followed, for the most part, the designs that preceeded them. The race lead ochre jersey is dominated by the Santos and South Australia names rendered in light blue and white. The polka dot climbers jersey is once again blue polka dots on a white base while the sprinters jersey is blue and the best young rider is again white. The jerseys are very similar to the 2017 edition with little design innovation introduced for the 2018 edition.
A special edition jersey based on the wine regions around South Australia was produced with large semi opaque shapes of grapes, wine glasses, corkscrew and wine bottles overlaid on the white torso area while the sleeves were dark blue.
A Bupa challenge ride jersey was also produced with a light blue upper section and a red bottom section split by a black bar where the Subaru name is rendered in white. Stripes are rendered on the sleeve ends but this jeresy has very little design mostly due to the amount of sponsors names that dominate the jersey.
